The International Business Coordinator position in the Center for International Business and Economic Development (CIBED) is responsible for serving as the lead coordinator between CIBED, the Confucius Institute, and other international partners; directing the technical assistance activities in support of the CIBED economic development outreach in relation to international business development; developing seminars as outreach offerings to communities in Alabama; interacting with local economic developers, business leaders, elected officials, and government agency personnel; effectively marketing and delivering CIBED services; participating in developing grants and contracts; involvement in international activities including international travel; interfacing with state government and local and regional economic development groups; engaging Sorrell College of Business faculty in CIBED activities and other duties as identified by the Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business, communications or a closely related field
- Must be bilingual with fluency in English

Master's Degree in Business, Communications or related field
